It is believed to be the last member of the so-called "Gang of Five," a set of skirted battery-op robots that included Sonic, along with Radicon, Target, Non-Stop and Machine Man. These robots command the top spots in the pantheon of robot collecting, and prices as high as $42,500 have been paid for them individually at auction in recent years.

The robot stands an impressive 15 inches high, and is complete and all-original. There are a few light scratches. The battery compartment is clean and corrosion-free. Note the battery door has a very small crease. I had to look twice to notice. The colors are vibrant. All of the lenses are original, as well as the wheels.

Best of all, the robot works! I put in three batteries and every light in the head lit up and the toy easily moved around. Plus the train whistle could easily be heard. -opamerica

Vintage Marx Rollover Roll Over Tank #5 Tin Toy Wind-Up

The toy is all original and in good shape! More than 9 out of 10 Jonah Banks have this interior piece missing when they turn up. Many people do not even know that this piece should be in the bank.

Otherwise, this bank is totally original in all respects. It has some wear as clearly shown in the photos. But, it is a pleasing example with lots of original paint present. There are no cracks or chips to the iron anywhere on the bank. This bank measures 10 9/32" long. -opamerica

Vintage Made in Japan Celluloid Drummer Boy Wind-up Toy

Presenting a vintage Celluloid Wind-up Drummer Toy with it's original box. The original box states the toy was Made in Japan by Mikuni and there is a Mikuni mark on the left rear on the horse. The top of the box has a fews small tears in it. The toy length is 6" inches and height about 4" inches. -opamerica

Vintage Roman Charlie Chaplin Vagabundo Wind-up Toy

-great example of a tin toy in action.

antique marbles
